Will I pass rent credit check with very bad credit.?
Hi I really want to rent my own place, but have very bad credit mostly from catalogues which I am trying to sort out and clear. I don't have a problem with deposit and stuff I know I can afford it. The problem is passing the land lords credit check, I don't have any ccj or bankruptcy my credit score is just really low tho.
Any advice
thanks

Your bad credit is definitely a problem for landlords that rely on credit score and credit history to determine whether you are qualified to rent from them.
While it is good that you don't have a bankruptcy or judgments on your report, the low score is enough to have you turned down, especially if there are multiple applicants for the rental and others can show sufficient income and strong credit.
One possible solution is to offer to pay a few months rent in advance, if you can afford to do so. If you do this, bee sure to get in writing an acknowledgement of when your next monthly payment is due.

Try to find a landlord with a single unit. Perhaps they won't check your credit. I have four units and I wouldn't rent to you because you don't seem to understand that you need to pay for what you buy.

The low credit score will be a problem at complexes that are more likely to do thorough checks. A private landlord for a house, for instance, you may get lucky and find one that is less meticulous and let's you lease from them.

you can improve your chances by offering a few months of rent in advanced and offering a higher security deposit
