Tips for sleepover fears?:)?

Hey guys, so tomorrow night i'm going to a sleepover, some people are going to think i'm a wimp, but I do have a sleepover fear, i get very home sick, but its for my bestfriends birthday, so I can't butt out now. How can I not be so home sick?

It's okay to feel homesick; some people bring along something comforting like their own pillow or favorite socks or something like that. Also you could try talking yourself through it if you feel sad, or whatever feelings you have, by thinking about how much fun you had earlier in the day. You will be right back in your own bed in less than 24 hours, so this is a great, easy way to face your fears! Most people feel much better from being brave and doing things that scare them, because then you can be really proud of yourself :) And if you are scared and homesick, for , say 15 minutes, but you were happy at the party for 4 hours, then I'd say mathematically speaking you came out ahead. Hope that helps :)

Try taking something like a stuffed animal or pillow from home with you

You must be 13 to post on Yahoo Answers. Please don't tell me that a 13-year-old is afraid to sleep away from mummy and daddy. Maybe it would help if you take your favorite bwanky along.
