Google Question? 10 Points!?

So today Google Photos got announced with unlimited storage and so on but I was wondering what is the difference between Google Photos and Google Drive? Isn't it the same thing?

    Google Photos is specifically for photos and videos only. Unlimited storage. Cool beans!

    Good Drive is for files, documents, music and photos too. But limited to what storage capacity you have remaining.

    I think on Google Drive you can store any type of document,files, videos where as Google Photo is for just photos.
