(Women) Why do women like bad guys, should I be one?

It's not necessarily that women want bad guys, but that men who are often type-casted as bad boys are confident, and less boring to be around. The "bad guy" is typically someone that is selfish and only interested in his own enjoyment, so when he goes after a girl he's not overly concerned about what she thinks, nor is he sensitive about what others think. This quality often makes him uninhibited and fun to be around. The good guy is sensitive about how he affects others, and is therefore inhibited. He won't say things that are outrageous because he doesn't want to offend people. He won't take risks because he wants to preserve his safety, and sense of security.

You don't have to be a bad guy to be all those things, but they often go hand-in-hand, so women will go with the uninhibited guy that's fun to be around vs. the inhibited guy that won't step out of his comfort zone because he's worried about offending people
