What should I take to draw in another country?

I enjoy almost all types of art but I only plan to draw and sketch in a sketchbook when I travel. I do have limited space and all that but I will be going to Africa France and Spain. Im just not sure what to take beyond a small sketchbook and a pencil and eraser? Please help! Thank you!

Nothing. Not even pens, pencils, or paper. When I went to Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Italy... I used supplies I procured there. It introduced me to other media, opened me up to other artists there, and ultimately made me feel somewhat more connected than a mere stranger peeking into a fish bowl. What you bring back will be different colors, textures, ideas, and expressions than you otherwise would have had by sticking to whatever yarn in your conventional knitting.

You already know what you need. Just take your sketchbook and whatever you pla to draw with. But don't take 3 sketchbook with you those places you going will have sketchbook book you can buy if needed. ITs the same for the pencils, just take what needed leave the extras you can refill your supplies in those country. I don't know much about Africa but I do know france is very big in art and you will find a store for art in any corner

I enjoy drawing myself. Just, not great like you are. I would recommend taking a ruler and a few coloring pencils. Of course I'd also bring a pen too, just to be on the safe side. Hope I've helped! I also hope you enjoy your vacations; so jealous! 😜 Ocean Breeze.

I carry a small sketchbook that includes water color paper, a small water color kit (with brush) a pencil, and fine tip ink pen.

guess you better take pencil and paper, though if you have to ask this how will you manage the vagaries of being in a different country. better take your nanny.
