I'm having trouble finding "Jane Eyre"?
I have a choice to read one of two books over summer for school, they are "A Member of the Wedding" and "Jane Eyre". "A Member of the Wedding" seems quite boring (especially for a 14 year old like me), so I want to see what "Jane Eyre" is about, but when I go to iBooks on my computer and I enter the book or if I go to the authors page, there are hundreds of different books named "Jane Eyre" and the only thing that they say about themselves is that they were made in the 1800s by Charlotte Brontë. So if you know anything about "Jane Eyre", can you please go to iBooks and come back to tell me if they're all the same or if any are completely different? Thank you...

Jane Eyre was originally written by Charlotte Brontë and published in 1847. You're not going to find an original edition, so you'll find a reprint with a more recent date.
I like the Norton Critical edition of Jane Eyre. It includes several essays about the book. That might be more than you want to read, but they will help you understand the book.
It was also made into a movie.

jane eyre is a great book by charlotte bronte but it is pretty deep reading about a nanny who goes to care for what she supposes is a wealthy widower's child. but it gets very intense and involved and of course is written in period england.
you might do better with the more contemporary "the member of the wedding" which is actually about a 12 year old misfit girl.

-Because the book is no longer covered by copyright, it's likely that lots of different people have scanned it in and made their versions available via iBooks. These are all the same book, but most of these are probably full of typographical errors. If you want a clean copy that has been proofread, get the free version from Gutenberg.org, as @Marli suggested, or better yet, get a commercially published edition with the critical essays, as @Dan suggested.

I don't have iBooks, but "Jane Eyre" was written by Charlotte Bronte. You can check out "Project Gutenberg" or your local library's catalogue.
