i'm still not happy with my vote in the UK general election and i feel i can't accept it. Help!!?
Hi everyone. As you know it was the election in the UK a couple of weeks ago and i think i made a real bad mistake as i'm convinced i voted for the wrong party by mistake. It's playing on my mind and is affecting my daily life.
I know there is nothing i can do about the situation but there anything you can suggest to help to me to forget about the mistake. pass it off as

It's only one vote amongst thousands. What constituency are you in and what was the majority for the winner? If it was thousands, as most majorities are, it won't have made any difference. Take where I live - our MP got 60% of the entire vote and only an earthquake would have changed that!

you are not alone it was a farce it did not represent the people at all the SNP got 56 seats with less votes than UKIP that got one seat 24% of the people voted conservative they are in power so don't worry if you made a mistake the whole thing was a mistake we have a system that should have gone out with the dinosaurs in fact it's still run by them you were probably as confused as everyone else they were all terrible we appear to have settled for the devil we knew dreadful

so .. get involved with an organisation working towards goals you genuinely believe are important
being upset about an election result and then not being active in achieving change is just .. meh
