What determines how smart someone is?

To determine how smart someone is, is the riddles/IQ Test. Depending what type of smart, i really believe that if you memorize facts it doesnt mean you're smart at all. If you do something out of something you learned, then you are really bright. Think back to some important figures of histore that were considered smart! Like lets say Einstein. He didnt just memorize facts and was an annoying af bragging nerd. He became a genious by making new ideas and doing something out of what he learned. So that why its good to read! Not to be "smart" just cause you read 100 books. To get a bright idea from inspiration.
