Is it worth paying $300 extra for a laptop with i7-4720hq v i7-5500u?

The Toshiba laptop with 12gb of ram and an i7-4720 is $899 vs Lenovo laptop is 8gb ram and i7-5500u at $578. Which one should I pick. Please help. Thanks!

    Tv is wrong.the i7 5500 is fifth gen and was designed for longer battery life.the toshiba is previous generation and more powerful.and less energy efficient(less battery life and more heat stress).as for which to get,it depends on what you use it for.Contact me if you need more help.     i didn't look at the specs of both.

    But just purely by processor alone....toshiba is way better 8 threads & more power saving than Lenovo.
