How do I transport my fish I have a 4 month old blue gourami and I am moving. The car drive will be 4 hours so I am scared for my fish?

He needs heated water oxygen and food to survive. Btw I am not going to ship him because he is too precious to put his life in danger and he will be scared

Bag the fish like the shop does, and put it in a cooler bin to keep the temperature stable.

Every fish in the shop has survived this (sometimes several times), usually via overnight freight, or even international airline flights. (24+ hours) It will be fine for 4 hours.

More of a worry is the aquarium, and moving that. If you let the gravel and filter dry out you loose the tanks cycle and need to set it up and cycle it again. Bag the filter media, and put the gravel in bucket with a good lid to keep it damp. Then when you set up the tank again, it will still have most of it's cycle, and the fish should be OK.

I moved 1000 miles across the country with my fish in a hawaiin punch jug with a hole at the top. I held them between my legs the whole ride. I was scared for my fish at first but they made it fine.
