Enduro riders!!! Feel free to comment?

I tought about buying one more bike.. This time I would buy enduro/supermoto bike and switch from enduro at winter to supermoto at summer... Anyway, by watching these enduro videos on youtube it looks little too complicated to drive enduro on unfriendly terrain.. I mean you have to shift gears, watch on the clutch and be careful not to release it to fast or it will turn of, in the same time you have to steer and everything.. It seems too complicated for me.. And yeah I have R1 so maybe someone already has similar bikes and can compare situation, either way please comment..

If you want to off road and not clutch put a rekluse 2.0 in it. No need to clutch. I run it my dirt bike. Thinking of putting one in my street bike. I can start out in second gear, I don't clutch ever. I can shift with throttle wide open up or down. It's great for technical areas. Stall point is minimal(almost can't kill the bike). Now note. Some people don't like it cause when going down hill you gotta zap the throttle a little to kick the engine brake on, if not the clutch will kick in and you'll be free wheeling. You just gotta get used to it. Rode chalk bluff ohv yesterday. Rekluse saved the day. Fairly technical place to ride. The other people I went with kept stalling their bikes. Not me. 😎

If you already ride a motorcycle, you're already doing all these things anyway (gears, clutch, steering, etc.) It's just that "enduro" or motor-cross racing adds the dimension of off-road dirt riding and uneven surfaces to the mix. A bit of off-road riding can actually improve your reflexes and give you more experience in handling a bike in an emergency situation. A lot of people learn to ride off-road first and THEN switch over to riding on the street.

The only difference between an enduro and your R1 is the enduro is lighter and has tires that grip soft terrain (dirt).

Both bikes you have to use the clutch and shift gears.
