What happened to most of the 12 million inhabitants that lived here (now USA) ,when we "Whites" came here in the 1600s ?

Three words: unintentional biological warfare. They had no resistance to diseases from the old world.

It didn't help when the "whites" intentionally shot them, etc. but they never would have been able to get the upper hand without so many native Americans dying from disease.

Go ask their pitifully few surviving descendents who were relegated to (and still live in ) the concentration camps that the US calls 'Indian Reservations.'

They went to Europe to fill in the population gap.
