is there a type of couch/loveseat cover that will fit and stay in place the best?
I've got covers on my couch and loveseat, the one on the couch doesn't stretch at all, it's always coming loose. I've cut some .5"x.5: boards in an attempt to hold the cover in place but they don't hold up for too long before the back of the cover has come up and over the front and the cover looks a mess.
The one on the loveseat doesn't become messy as fast (I'm the only one who sits on it) but it still does wind up getting wrinkly.
Is there a type that won't do this as much? Should I find a smaller one that will have to stretch to fit? Also wondering if the 2 piece ones work better...they have a piece that's just for the seat cushions.
*edit: also is there some type of strap or something that I could use to help hold the cover in place? For some reason I think I've seen like clear plastic straps somewhere

Try 'Surefit' brand slipcovers. They have different types and styles which also dictates the varying degrees in price ranges but they may be what you need and you will get more bang for you buck!

The best covers for couches I ever used were those knitted afghans. They seem to stay in place pretty well and are easy to re-adjust if they slip.
