what happens if someone calls the cops and gives them my license plate number?
I have no power at my house because they're doing some maintenance crap on the power. So my whole neighborhood doesn't have electricity right now and even the street lights are out. It's super dark. On my way back from school I pulled over at some random residential area and just chilled in my car, charged my phone, and plaid games on it. About half an hour later I decided to head home and this guy from one of the houses got in his car and began to follow me. I drove around to see if he was following me and he was. At one point he flashed his cell phone flash at me. He probably thought I was up to no good. What happens if he calls the cops and gives them license plate number? I'm bothered by this

Did you do anything wrong? What are you worried about? Unless a crime has been committed the cops aren't going to bother following up some vigilante's claim.

He is the one who will get into trouble not you, because he was doing false police reports on you. False police reports are illegal. You weren't doing anything illegal so don't worry, if the police hold you up tell them the truth, they'll probably believe you.

Why are you "bothered" by it? If, as you say you were parked on a public street not doing anything illegal, what do you care if he calls the cops?
