Isn't being broke the worst feeling ever?

It doesn't feel good but there are many worse things that can happen to a person.

If we are uncomfortable being broke, it really motivates us to do something about it, which is good.

The great thing about having known hardship is that you know, whatever comes your way, you will deal with it because you've learnt to be a survivor. That inner strength is priceless, but getting it in the first place comes at a price.

Not at all. Being brokenhearted is far, far worse. Having no money is not a problem if you have someone to be poor with.
