How old are you? If you are under 18, then nope, you have no rights. If you are over 18, then you can take her to small claims court to get the cost of the puppy back. Chances of getting the puppy back,.... slim to none. You cannot get your dog back via small claims court. That would be a criminal matter, and the police would be dealing with your mother, not them. They are innocent victims. They probably have children who have already fallen head over heals in love with that puppy. Besides, she's settled into her new home now, and it would be very difficult for her to be moved at this point. I'm sorry you're mom has lost it. Hopefully when she comes back to her senses she at least apologizes. edit: seriously, what kind of powers do you people think cops have lol? It is not their job to go retrieving puppies. All they could do was fill out a police report about the sale of stolen property, but they do NOT HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO RETRIEVE THAT STOLEN PROPERTY WITHOUT A COURT ORDER FROM A JUDGE. The report will be sent tot he district attorney's office/crown council/whatever the British equivalent is, and they will decide if there is enough evidence to ask a judge to issue a warrant for your mother's arrest. I'm sorry, but I'm a police officer, and I get sick of people saying "the cops will do this, the cops will do that" when in fact we have no legal authority to do any of those things!!!!! I'm telling you, you aren't going to get this puppy back.

That depends. If you are just re-selling foods that you have purchased retail, I don't see the problem. If you have been designated as a distributor, and purchase your food at wholesale, and are using ebay as your "store"....the particular company MAY complain that it isn't up to their standards. Without being a distributor....I'm curious as to the motive. If you are buying retail and marking up the price, then charging shipping...why would anyone pay for it? There are several online companies that sell dog food. Most of these sell top brand foods that are not easily accessed in all areas. They have exclusive deals with the dog food manufacturer, and are the ONLY ones allowed to market their food as retail. It all depends on the food. Some foods have several distributors...others have only 1 or 2. The majority of top foods are made in Canada. Import to U.S. is expensive, and the price of the food is pretty outrageous. But these guys limit their U.S. distribution to a small group. TO purchase pallets, import them and re-sell without a distributor agreement would be illegal. IF nothing else, the company would stop selling food to you.

Can I ask what food you want to sell?

Just give it to a shelter if it's just something you have sitting.
