Cat scratch "weeping"?

Today my cat scratched my leg. Ever since the bleeding stopped, it has been "weeping" clear liquid constantly. It doesn't look infected and I put antibiotic cream on it. I've never ha a cut do this before. Is this normal?

It's not unheard of, especially with lower extremity injuries. The body is full of fluids; sometimes some unusual one leaks out. Gravity makes that more likely with leg injuries.

Apply a loose dressing before bedtime, so it doesn't leak onto your bedclothes. After a night horizontal, you shouldn't be leaking any more of this fluid.
