In terms of what? Scoring? Defence? Goalies? 2 way forwards? Offensive D men?

Most of them put up good numbers year in year out.
But really I'd say the best guys would honestly have to be, Crosby, Toews, Kane, Keith, Doughty, Bergeron, Price, Stamkos, Geztlaf, Ovi, Malkin, Dastyuk, and some more, but thats 12 in no order. Each one def. specializes in their own way. Berg. and Toews pile up the assists and more so towards Toews leads their team to victory and scores clutch goals and are two of the best D. forwards in the game(also factor in Datsyuk). Keith and Doughty are two elite D man, one has 2 cups and 2 gold, the other 3 cups and 2 gold (keith) Price is the best goalie in the league. Stamkos, Ovi, Crosby and Malkin are all scorers but Ovi and Stammer are a bit better at it, but never the less, all 4 can score.
