Is my filling filled in wrong?
I had two cavities in the top teeth both on opposite sides. I got it filled in today and when I bit down it doesn't let me bite down all the way. It's stoping my bite a little. Will it be fine and shave off it self or should I get it sanded from them again?
Thanks

You need to go back and see your dentist as soon as possible to have your fillings adjusted. When you're still numb, it's hard to tell if your teeth fit together properly or not. It's not unusual to have to go back for a slight adjustment. Don't wait too long because your teeth can be damaged from all of the force of your bite only hitting in certain teeth. There should not be any charge to have this done.

Well the 1st time the dentist smoothed the filling down to the bite you were probably numb. So if it is still bothering you then you should have an appointment scheduled to see the dentist and have the dentist evaluate the bite situation.

Your bite should return to normal soon. I've had at least 16 fillings, this has happened before. If it doesn't fix itself in a week or more, contact your dentist.
