If God created the universe, did he create aliens too, and did he create them in his own image ?

Possibly and possibly.

The Catholic Church has long acknowledged the possibility of other intelligent life in the universe.

One suggestion is that aliens have never disobeyed God, committed Original Sin and therefore do not require salvation.

God keeps them away from us for their own protection. This is why we only see glimpses of them (UFOs) but no real contact can be made.

If found, it would be interesting if they had a seven day week.

The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.

Aliens are a contrivance of man. Angels are the only other creatures Jehovah God created higher than humans.

Obviously we do not know that yet, and there is no way we can know that with certainty other than by discovering those aliens. Incidentally, if He did create other peoples on other planets in the universe, then we are also aliens.
