can I put one male and one female betta with one Siamese algae eater together?

    Adding to what has already been said, first, it depends on your tank size and second, you need to have a group of females with a male betta not just one.

    You will soon only have one betta, but that could live with a SAE, assuming you have a tank around 20 gal.

    Make sure it s a SAE, not a Chinese. They get too big and aggressive, and would eventually kill a betta.
