What are luster nickel aluminum wheels?
Just bought a 2015 mustang gt and the wheels are sliver luster nickel aluminum wheels , I want to do get them black gloss but I have no idea what this luster nikel means, to get them to the point of painting them black , thanks.

Your wheels are worth a lot more stock than altered in any way. Store the wheels and get yourself the wheels you want. Sooner or later, someone with Nickel Luster wheels will need to replace one and you will make some nice cash on their demise. Painting those wheels will only lead to an ugly mess.

If you don't have the sales brochure, go to Ford.com - - - every model has different standard and optional wheels including the luster nickle........but "gloss black" are listed under the dealer-installed option section - - - - - but if you've already bought it ???????

never heard of that for rims ; the rims are aluminum alloy, maybe with a coating of nickel............does not make sense
