Overall more skilled is probably KG cause he can score, shoot, defend and pass aswell as lead a team...however Duncan lead his team to rings so he has that going for him. Also he can score and defend aswell as KG, the only thing Garnett has above him is passing and shooting.
Going by absolute prime I take KG cause from 2002-2004 he was unstoppable but Duncan managed to extend his prime much longer so he overall he has had more "prime years" than KG.

It's Duncan by couple of notches. I know Duncan had a much better team but at the same time, the way he plays the game enables him to utilize his team mates better which helps them win championships. Still, Garnett wasn't far behind as he was a premier power forward as well and will also be in the Hall in first ballot like Duncan.
Just that there's a reason why Duncan was considered a very fundamental player. Too bad the 2004 Olympics left a very undeserved sh!t stain in his career due to the mess surrounding him.
