Is reality governed with units and limits?

Reality is measured in units, scaled in limits, but governed by leap and bounds of fantastic dreams. You might be surprised! Well, you should not be, if you have ever realised the power of a dream, or seen a fantastic charm beguiling the mind.

A mind calculating is a mind ultimately subservient to reality; punctilious, practical and thorough, yes, but narrow upon the horizon and limited in the scope of its vision. A mind fantastic, on the other hand, is a mind sufficient for reality, but then it is more, much more. It is curious, insightful and yearning for ever more, never content with what it is, never satisfied with what it has, a mind, out of which new realities are born.

If life is a unit, then life is not rounded, not limited to reality. This life is never enough for the mind that has in its sight things most wonderful. Just as life is not the limit that the mind knows no realistic bounds to leap beyond, but the ones set by the dreams, the mind then must dream, and make efforts to have those dreams come true.

"Is reality governed with units and limits?"

No. Reality is "consistent", and we attribute "the laws of physics" to that consistency. From that inference, we can allocate arbitrary units. And from displayed history, and physical theory, we can derive limits.

So the converse is true: Reality, and our understanding / beliefs of it, establish units and limits.

Energy geometrizes into particles. So, "governed" at that metric.
