Android wifi connection issues?
I recently came back to my parents house to visit for summer break. I had no problem connecting to their wifi at first, but after a week or so I wasn't able to connect. Everytime I try to connect the phone just says 'connecting' for one second but nothing happens. My parents have iPhones and have faced no such issue and my laptop is completely fine. My brother has a Samsung phone too and is facing the same problem.
I have an S6 and he has an S4 mini. My dad has an iPhone 6 and my mom has a 5. The wifi is hidden and WPA2.
I have tried turning the wifi off and on, turning my phone off and on, forgetting and rejoining the wifi, turning airplane mode off and on, resetting my phone to factory settings, using the wps button, resetting the wifi, resetting app permissions and all to no avail. I even tried waiting for something to change but after 3 days the situation is the same.
Any ideas?
