A 12 kg glider accelerates from a speed of 10 m/s to 15 m/s over a span of 10 seconds. what is the net force acting on the glider?

My answer key says 6 N, but I am getting 60N. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong

    F = m*a

    a = ∆v / t = 5 / 10 = 0.5 m/s^2

    m = 12 kg, therefore

    F = 12 * 0.5 = 6 N
