Long way to go yet. Marriage is just a step towards total sexual equality, a human right for all citizens in all countries. The liberties and freedoms you take for granted are not a privilege gay people can totally share, simply because many straight people get hysterical if they see two gay people holding hands, or kissing at the bus stop, or canoodling in the park, common everyday situations you straight people enjoy but deny to us. No human being has the right or the authority to decide the equality of another, so this new law in America is indeed a bolt from the blue, a wake up call to America's history of prejudice and discrimination towards the few from the many. Satisfied? No. Never satisfied until the day dawns when those born gay throughout the world don't have to fight for their human rights. Today, in more than 70 countries, gay people are still imprisoned, raped, tortured and in some, executed, simply because of the way nature works in creating us all as unique individuals and man's stupid ignorance and silly notions about stuff he refuses to comprehend. Perhaps you believe in all the myths eagerly promoted by religion and society to support homophobia. Myth is myth and they are all far removed from the reality and fact. There is nothing to fear from homosexuality, for it is a natural aspect of life. Your own instincts might tell you otherwise, but then if you are straight, then that is how it should be, for instinct drives and steers what feels right for us all. Be satisfied that there but for the creation process, you were not born differently.

Depends on whether the Zealots continue to shoot at gays or deny them their legal rights as human beings

I suspect that would like not to be marginalized and demeaned. That will take a generation though

once gays are treated equally they'll just throw the BTQIA+ under the bus and go home

They always want more. They won't be happy until homosexual orgies are taking place at every street corner.
