Is it fair to take a break?

Been together for over 5 years. I'm at the point in life where I don't want to be tied down to anyone, especially after chasing him and struggling with him to treat our relationship like a true relationship for years. I'm ready to be on my own for a while and see how it is being on my own. I'm over cooking and cleaning for a man, over trying to push him to be something he doesn't want. He does truly love me and tries to make me happy but years of me bitching about the same things and no changes is just really tiring. We haven't has sex in months because I'm no longer attracted to him, nor am I no longer in love. But now the more I pull away, he hovers over me and it's kind of annoying because when I wanted all that attention, he didn't give it. I think I'm just too young (21) to be this stressed out over a man. Is it fair to him if I move out and give us a break for a while?

You are lying to yourself. You aren't going to take a break. Once you take a break with someone, the odds of you getting back together with them in the long term is nearly zero. It is clear you don't want a break either; what you want is to move on.

Girl you should of ended a long time ago. If you have to biitch at him that much, it isn't worth it. Just tell him you want to break up and you don't feel love for him anymore. If he try's to convince you, tell him you already made up your mind about everything and how you want to be in life.

Tell him to read the book how to be a 3% man by Corey Wayne and then he'll know how to deal with this
