-- Honda Accord, Civic Si, Prelude, Acura Integra, Mazda3, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, Scion tC, Lexus IS300, Ford Focus, VW Polo or Jetta.
For a beginner learning how to drive a stick, stick to Japanese for their reliability. Hondas have smooth manual transmission and would strongly recommend to a beginner.

Get proper lessons as driving stick is not as simple as many people think.
In Europe we have to take a different test for stick and have a different license.
It includes having to start on a steep hill with no roll back and without frying the clutch.
There are many other manoeuvres you have to complete.
I have had to make a hill start going up the steepest pass in Europe. That is 1in 2.2 and had no roll back.
It is co-ordinating your feet and using the e brake correctly.
