Do I have acid reflux?
so I was diagnosed with acid reflux October 2013 and began having symptoms like clearing my throat and my voice going kinda raspy high pitched. I hear that when you have acid reflux you will get bad heartburn and you will throw up the food. That has never happened to me before except where Everytime I used to swallow my chest would hurt. Now I've been medication 7 months ago. I don't get the chest pain thing but my voice still gets raspy and kind of high pitched is this acid reflux? My doctor said I have it . Also could I possibly have esophagus CANCER? I kinda left it untreated for almost a year and then went on medication . Thanks

It could be acid reflux affecting your vocal cords and voice. Cancer is not so likely. If your chest hurts while swallowing, that could be a symptom of acid reflux.
Learning to relax also helps your condition.
