need help with a 04 ford taurus problem my traction controll light comes on and turns off on me sometimes when im in idle.?

Update:

i have a 04 ford taurus and lately my traction control light and abs symbol comes on with a tire sliding symbol as well and it flickers on and off as i drive and sometimes when im in idle at a light my car will turn off this isnt good at all and today my check charging system light came on and it turned off on me while i was driving not a good sight what could be wrong,what should i be checking.

    Hi so what is the answer, yes a visit to a Ford dealer of course.
