Can I pray isha while the jamat is praying tarawih?
Sometimes I go to the masjid planning on praying both isha and tarawih, but I show up late and miss isha. Can I join while they re praying tarawih with the intention of isha? On the other hand, is it halal to pray with the intention tarawih before praying isha?

Salam Yes if you came late, you can even you should perform isha fard prayer first in a separate place at the mosque before you join for tarawih sunnah prayer in congregation.After you finished your isha mandatory prayer,you can join tarawih prayer with the jama'ah
