Headphones - What's the best sounding for under $75?
I own a pair of Skullcandy Hesh 2.0 and they have decent sound, but what else is there out there for under $75, something that isn't a vague brand.

Headphones are really a personal taste item when you get into the lower price points. The Skullcandy Hesh can perform fine on home audio and sound lousy on portable audio. Monoprice has some good economy bets at the $20 point (yes, $20 point) and both Sennheiser and Audio Technica have respectable performers in your price range.
In fact with some serious shopping on-line, you can often find the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO and Sony MDR-7506 for just under $75. Those are seriously good headphones - true monitors that make garbage like Beats really pale by comparison.
