The headset does not have a factory reset.
Sounds like you have the phone in pairing mode. You will need to have the device you want to pair it with in scan or search mode, so that it can find the Bluetooth headset.
The headset can only pair with 2 devices at any one time, so if you already have two devices paired, you will need to unpair it with one of the other devices to pair it with a new one.
If you are still having trouble with the headset, you should call the LG Wireless Customer Interactive Center at 800-793-8896.
