Do you cover your Canary's Cage when it is hot in house, overnight?

Or, do you cover only half of the cage?

Yes, use a very light sheet or towel. You can also put the cage in your bathroom that is dark or in another room with the curtains drawn. When it gets dark most caged birds just roost and fall to sleep without a cover. But if you have a chatter box or a bird that sings into the night then a cover and a quite room is in order.

Yes, because there could be drafts from air conditioning or fans. Just a light weight cloth, year around.
