Is Daily too often? Or, how often should a Canary get these items?

Not at all! Fruits and Veggies are very important parts of a bird's diet and they need it every single day! There isn't really an amount that is "too much" so there isn't a fixed amount for how much they should get it.
For me, it depends on the fruit/vegetable. If it is high in sugar or water (watermelon, apples, etc), they should get it less often, say once a week. If it is low in nutrients (cabbage, iceberg lettuce, etc) they should only get it once a week.
However, if it is a very healthy vegetable; low in fat and sugar, and high in nutrients; they should get it twice a day. For example, kale, spinach, romaine, papaya, berries, etc. This is how it works. If it is super healthy; twice a day. If it is not so healthy; once a week. If it's in between, then you can figure that out. There is no such thing as "too often", the more healthy veggies and fruits, the merrier!
Good luck!
