Seventh day Adventists, Is it true that SDA's can accept or deny that Jesus is God and that you can be either Arian or Christian?

I was speaking with a SDA pastor today and he told me this and I was shocked to learn that SDA's can accept or reject Christ in their theology. Do Christians and Arians worship alongside each other at your meetings?

    All the SDA's must be attending their convention in San Antonio, TX.

    If you were really a Christian you would know that Christ rejects no one and all people are welcome to worship side by side as they wish.
