The 4th fireworks had ended and before the band resumed they made the announcement "There is a little girl lost named (insert name), your parents are waiting for you at the ferris wheel."

She's not a 'little girl', she's 13. Her name is not common like 'Sue Smith'. This is a small town where everybody knows each other.

I think that was uncalled for to humiliate her like that in front of the entire town.

This morning a memorial to Michael Brown burned, likely due to memorial candles left unattended. This prompted gun shots, looting and burning of minority owned, community owned businesses.

Do you think this will endear public opinion in favor of the 'protesters'?

I'm the cool playground supervisor, but this year I'm just not excited at all about it. In fact I'm not even sure that I'll show up tomorrow. I'm starting my 8th season.

I've always had great fun with the kids and am to some their hero. They see me in town and shout "Hey, it's Tom Cat!!" They love me and I love them.

But this year I just don't want to do it. I just can't turn it on. The kids who moved on in 2012 and particularly 2013 who I've known since they were babies in K broke my heart One in particular. I grew very close and fond of her and love her whole family.

Also a 3rd grader started a rumor about me being an addict last year and over the Summer told people I followed her home. I had trouble with 2 other kids (ex-friends of my daughters) who don't go to the school.

I love 'entertaining' the kids and getting to know them, but I'm just burnt out on kids. I thought by now I'd be more excited, but I'm dreading it and I don't want to break the kiddies hearts.

How can I get the spark again?

I try to answer a question in the parenting section and it says "Been removed or under investigation". It's like every third question.

If you don't like the question just pass it by. What is with all these busy bodies and like toddlers in the 'PARENTING' section?

This is my second attempt, this time using chick peas. The first time was a complete failure. Are they supposed to have some type of foam at the top? And be kind of stinky?
