Is dependent on the context really. Which is better as a snack - fresh fruit to me. It's tastier and gives you that little of sweetness. Which can be better as a snack if you are trying hard to slice back on sugar and lose weight vegetables

This looks like Pork skin to me. I have seen it when I visited to Asia. They processed the pork skin before they can cook it. I have also tried it and it tasted quite nice. I mean it is actually tasteless without sauce. It is kind of crispy and crunchy.

it looks to me a curry stew. They could have used beef tripes and if it is not beef then it could be pig's rind or foo chok ( soy beans sheath/skin ) and either fish ball, hard boiled quail eggs or radish
