Doctor who several questions??
Hello I just got into Doctor Who and I'm in the second season with Tennant as the doctor but my question is more for the ninth doctor. My question is was Rose IN love with the doctor or loved him just as a friend? I saw some romance between them but it was more one sided I don't know that's how I saw it at least and with Ten she is instantly attracted to him. I know she cared deeply for Nine but I just wanted clarification. And another question when Nine regenerates does he basically perish into nothingness or is it like Amnesia where the doctor has to start for square one? Thanks for your time?

9 and Rose were getting closer when he regenerated
The Doctor Keeps his Memories ( for the most part) and his Knowledge when he regenerates
( although he can be "off" at first after regeneration- each one seems to be Harder)
So 10 has the same memories as 9 did
The Doctors have met various "Selfs" over the 50+ years of the show
it is the Same Being in another Body with a different Personality

Rose was falling for 9, but he didn't reciprocate.
When he regenerated, he effectively becomes a cnew person but with all the memories of the previous guy.
