I made a high resolution photo of all documents and the check right before i stuffed and sealed the envelope. I know the check was in there, i verified contents prior to sealing envelope. and the work area was clear except for these documents. Why do i have to pay for the states mistake.. i can replace the check THEY LOST.. but why do i have to pay penalties and interest.
Blondie, is not a fine a punishment? I did not get a trial we skipped to the punishment phase. the burden of proof is on the citizen not the state. The state can increase the fine and or tax on a whim or for no reason at all.

You're GUILTY? You're being criminally prosecuted? For what? Tax Fraud? Hopefully you have consulted with an attorney.
