how do I stop a 4.1A car charger blowing fuses?

I bought a 4.1A car charger for my phone but the fuses can't cope with. should I run a wire from the battery to the cigarette lighter with something like a 40amp fuse?

    The cig lighter should supply much more the 4 amps. If the charger is blowing the fuse, then it's Faulty. If you fit a heavier fuse, it will probably catch fire.

    If it’s blowing probable 15 to 20 amp fuse for cigarette lighter, there phone charger is defective, get it replaced.
