How to keep a hat on a newborn baby?

Update:

My daughter is a new mother, my grandson is only two weeks old. He's a wiggle worm and his hat is always falling off. I kept my house a good deal warmer when my kids were little and I didn't worry about hats inside. I have no idea's LOL.

You put it back on. And you put it back on. And you put it back on.

I wouldn't force a hat indoors though. Sun protection is one thing, but supposed cold indoors? It's not THAT cold even if you don't crank up the heater.

You don't. If you want shade for the child, get a sun shade or use an umbrella.
