Why is it, that "Blacks" can use the "N" word openly,especially in music, & movies, but we Whites are not allowed to ?

The N word has been used as a derogatory term for ages. If black people hear that coming from a white person's mouth, it will make them cringe from all the social injustices whites have done to blacks.

Black people can use the N word because they are reclaiming it as a term of affection. They don't want the word to have power over them anymore. What they do with words that only affect them does not affect you.

Instead of wanting to use the N word and in turn hurting people, why don't you go donate to some charities.

I would only add that when Blacks use it they mean it as a slang as they used to use the word "brother". I find it offensive but they don't mean any harm -- I suppose.

Well, in general, the n word is deregatory towards black people, blacks usually can make a friendly conversation and use the n word without a problem, because the people in the actual conversation are black... A white who says the n word would be considered a racist because they are not black..

I think the first amendment allows for the Whites to use the N word. That would be my first reasoning...

to go after THEIR OWN. It's been that way from 30s

It's a white guilt thing.

Because it's "their" word.

It's basically like calling your parents "mom" and/or "dad" as opposed to "mother" and "father"; something you agree on between yourselves which is basically no one else's business.

They just use it because they can - there are better words to describe someone in the legitimate dictionary.
