I don't think Mortensen could have come up with this himself. Someone fed him information that was obviously false. The NFL has economic pressure that could be used on ESPN.I don't have much respect for ESPN.

The NFL knows who leaked the information. They probably told him exactly what to say. Those "leaks" are carefully planned to get information out to the public without it coming from official sources. If the NFL was really interested in shutting that stuff down, they could do it. Nobody is going to spread confidential information if being found out would cost them their job.

There is no source. Mortensen works for ESPN so everyone knows he just makes sh!t up.

No as he doesn't work for the NFL he works for ESPN.He is however way better than that rat bastard Adam Schefter.
