Why do some people think burps to be disgusting?

But the smell is bad especially if you are a smoker, Oh gawd! >_<

My dad and my older brother smoke. and i had the misfortune of smelling their burps many times xD

one more thing that stops me from smoking other than my promise xD (remember "toilet breath" story? Nightmare lol)

You must be Patrick Star because you have no nose to smell the stench of burps.

It's also rude. It's excess waste and gas, and nobody wants to see you exhale that out in public.

If you drink coffee and you just woke up and then you sit up it might make you burp but I do not burp alot. It would be if it was stinky and all the time. Mine are not smelly at all. It is from swallowing air.

In most asian countries, belching is a normal thing to do. It's supposed to be a complement to the person/people who cooked it and lets them know how good they made their food
