90's were way better. In the 90's you had the beginning of the net as we now know it. 90's had plenty of jobs, a terrific economy, etc
The 80's were horriable to be a young adult as interest rates on homes were as high as 18%, so you couldn't buy a home unless you were rich. Jobs were quite hard to find and the pay sucked, high gas, etc. it was depressing time to arrive into adulthood.

i was born in 1988 so for me 90's i was alive for like 1 year of the 80's lol
