I can t get a tampon in?!?
I ve had my period for 4 years and I ve tried to use them at least 20 times. I just can t get it in. It won t even go past the outside of my body, it s as if I don t have a hole at all. I ve looked down there before trying to get one in, and I know where it should be and I saw blood, but it looked like it was seeping out of my skin! I m gonna be on my period next week and I m spending it all on the beach. I told my parents but they just think I m inexperienced... Please help me! I can t do this

ive had the same exact problem,so first, find a comfortavle postion that you can just relax and get loose (literally) and make sure to wash your hands before and after, you might want to get a handheld mirror and look at the reflection of your vagina just to see where it is, and eyeryones "tubes" are a little different, minego straight across, os you migjt want to put a little bit of your finger in just to see exactly where the hole goes, and try to use a tampon with an applicator, because theyre much easier to use, and just put it in there, pull off the applicator, and there you go! and itll be hard to get used to, so you moght want to practice a few times befpre hand but ONLY WHEN YOURE ON YOUR PERIOD!! and if you just cant do it (it always takes a while) you can always just chill on the beach and tell your family whats going on :) or you could go in the water and sit on a dark coloured towel once you get out :) i hope this helped, and remember to have fun!!

Your probably way to tense and nervous and if your vaginal muscles are tightened it will be way harder to get it in. Just relax! It's not a big deal. And why don't you try using your fingers to try and figure out exactly were everything is. Then just put the applicator head were ur fingers went in and gently push but remember to relax.
