No, because thanks to Americans knowing nothing about their Constitution OR the UNCONSTITUTIONAL supreme court, our government is of the wealthy by the wealthy for the wealthy.

I have never talked to another (in person) who comprehends the fact that the Supreme Court gave itself the unconstitutional power of Judicial Review (the FIRST reason stated in the Declaration of Independence for why we wanted to break with the UK). They then used that power to re-frame our government into a Common Law government like Britains. At that point, the US, and soon the world, started walking towards its demise. It's even possible that humans won't be alive in a decade - that's how bad our form of government is.

What is truly distressing is that kids are given "the impression" in school that we still operate in a Constitutional Republic, but I can PROVE to you - using the government's own documents - that we do not.

You may vote for someone, but who you will be allowed to vote for or against is already pre-chosen for you for as long as you insist on voting for the Dems or the Reps who love not having a pesky constitution restraining their corruption. Wall Street owns our government. The only way to put an end to that is for all of us to stop paying taxes.

  • Term limits just seem to make big donors more important, as no candidate is known to the electorate till after they spend a lot of money. So the end result is a revolving door of politicians easily bought by lobbyists.

If you really want to limit lobbyists you want to cut back on what the federal government actually does. If the feds don;t do it there is no reason to lobby them. That really takes care of all 3.
