How to get rid of the pain after appendix surgery?

So they had to open me up to get the appendix out. I had the surgery on Thrsday around 4pm I think . It's saturday 4:37pm . I got discharged a couple hours ago. They said to get rid of it to walk ? I'm not sure how that helps. Didn't help much yesterday when I walked around the hospital floor10times

    Yep, walking is the thing to do. It gets your internal systems working better. Keep it up....you'll be glad.
